The boy’s soccer team has dominated this season! They lost 4-2 against Brookland which kicked them out of the state tournament this year. The boys will finish up with the first winning record in school history. Their final record at the end of the season ended up as 6-5-5.

The Yellowjackets’ striker, Matthew Dunavant, says “I think having a winning record at the end of the season was a for sure ┬ámilestone for Wynne High School soccer. The team played extremely well this year, and I honestly think that if it weren’t for some unlucky calls we would have had a really good chance at going to the state finals.”

Yellowjackets’ senior, Ty South, says,” We did well at never being complacent, no matter how well or bad we played the day before. The season didn’t end the way that we wanted it to, but we couldn’t be more proud of the way that we played this season.”

There’s no doubt that this year’s soccer team made it farther than any other Yellowjacket team in history. With hard work and dedication, the boy’s soccer team proved that they could get the job done this season!
